Because of the Bluebonnet Reading Program, I visit dozens and dozens of schools in the state of Texas each year.  This week, I was in Lubbock, my first visit to West Texas.

Lubbock is Texas Tech country.  It is the focal point of the community.  I stayed on University Road which is (shockingly) right across from an entrance to the enormous campus.
